Happy Thanksgiving to our clients and their families! In honor of this time of thanks, we wanted to take a minute to not only thank you for our clients but also ask each team member what they are thankful for and share it with you!
As a Team – We are deeply grateful for you, our clients, your families, and for your trust in us to help you protect your family now and at some unknown time in the future. Every one of our team members is passionate about taking care of families, building relationships with clients, and ensuring our clients’ needs are met. We have you to thank for enabling us to do this. We also are thankful for every referral a client has made whether that be a friend or family member. This is truly the highest form of praise.
Vinnie – I am thankful for the families we represent, for our great team who is dedicated to taking care of clients and their families and for my family.
Isabelle – This year I am thankful for getting to travel in Denmark and England earlier in the fall; getting my apartment in Beverly and getting to know the town better and the people there; finishing my first year here and feeling more comfortable in my role; getting the new furniture and technology into the office, which has already made work more efficient and flexible.
Kristin – I am thankful for the opportunity to teach more this year. Being a part of teaching workshops and seminars has been both fun and rewarding for me. I greatly enjoy teaching and also love being able to use what we have discovered at our firm to help other firms take care of the families coming to them too. I am grateful to our team. As always, what we do is a team effort, and I’m thankful for a rock-solid team this year who has a strong sense of serving our families and pitching in to do what needs to be done. I’ve never heard “that’s not my job” from anyone, and I’m grateful to be surrounded by a team like this.
My oldest son is in Pre-K this year and absolutely LOVES getting to go to school 3 days/week and be with his friends there. My husband and I are really thankful for his awesome teachers and all the great friends he has made there. We’re also thankful that our younger son will be able to start preschool at the same school in January, and for how excited he is that he’s finally going to get to go to school too! My husband had the opportunity to start his MBA this fall, and he is loving his classes and the opportunity to continue his education!
Megan – I’m thankful for a workplace culture focused on constant improvement, for a team that works hard and supports each other so that we can serve our clients well, and for my family – especially my new niece Sophie who joined the clan this year.
Bill – I am glad to have been of help to some people whose spouses needed nursing home care and who didn’t have any idea what needed to be done to deal with such a crisis and to have helped with several adoptions this past year. I am looking forward to having family home for Thanksgiving, including our daughter-in-law who will be on a 2-week leave from foreign service.
Heidi – I am thankful that I was so warmly welcomed into the Family Estate Planning Law Group team full-time this year. It has been very rewarding to work with a group of people who are passionate about serving others and who are open to continually improving processes. I have been able to flourish and grow in my career, and that is a rare find. I am very thankful for our new software, our new capabilities to communicate with clients, and for our new website.
I have been recovering from a knee injury that weakened more than just my knee, and I am very grateful to my awesome physical therapist who is working on a holistic plan to get me back to full activity. I am also thankful for all the snow in Vermont and for the time I will get to spend with my family this holiday season.
Kori – I’m thankful for school and for the fact that I’m finishing up another semester. I’m also thankful that my husband, Tom, and I were able to go away on vacation this summer and spend some time together. On a work-related note – I’m thankful for the ability to still work with clients even though I’m part-time and at school.
Kate – I’m thankful for great coworkers and the opportunity to work together as a team. I am also thankful for good health and family!
Jesse – I am thankful for the opportunity I have had to intern here and for all I’ve learned over the last 10 months. I am also incredibly thankful for family and friends and the start of the holiday season (which means lots of yummy food)!
From all of us at Family Estate Planning Law Group, Happy Thanksgiving! We hope you are able to find some time to put into words what you are grateful for. If you would like to share, we would love to hear!
